Saw this Christmas Cholla while hiking today.

Working with watercolor pencil on watercolor paper. I am enjoying sketching from AZ Highways photos this one from the Grand Canyon.

Watercolor pencil on gray card stock paper. This side of the paper has a deep vertical texture. The flip side is smoother. More to experiment with.
